One of the few 100% Arabica espresso roasts available on the market (most use a Robusto coffee base and it gives those espressos an unpleasant “burned” taste). This is an incredibly popular choice for cafes that we serve in the Northern Virginia region because of its sweet, nutty body and smooth taste. It is also a wonderful brewed coffee in its own right and even makes a great cold brew! Ricks Roasters started in 2014 when a Navy vet and his wife sketched out the company on a dinner napkin. When the original owners retired, a few West Point classmates (all Army combat veterans) picked up where they left off. Our mission is embodied in what we call the “four Cs”: Coffee – bring the best quality coffee from around the world to our customers; Customers (enriching your coffee experience with a wonderful and satisfying cup of coffee it paramount; Causes (whether it is a veteran organization, an animal shelter, or a sports team, all different causes need help.
